Shocking: Final 6 Minutes of Las Vegas Shooter Before He Shot and Killed 59 People Revealed

Stephen Paddock slaughtered 58 people when he opened fire from his hotel window

According to a report by Daily Star UK, the Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock's final chilling six minutes before he carried out his shooting massacre have been revealed.

The evil gunman, who massacred 59 people when he opened fire on revellers at a country music festival, first shot a security guard, it can be revealed.

Paddock first shot the man approximately six minutes before unloading dozens of rounds from his Mandalay Bay resort suite.

Jesus Campos, who was injured in the leg in the shooting, went to investigate "sounds of drilling" coming from the 32nd-floor room of the hotel on the Las Vegas Strip.

Paddock was drilling holes in the door in preparation for his expertly-planned attack, which also saw him plant explosives and secret cameras in the vicinity.

Just moments after catching him drilling, Paddock shot Campos in the leg in a bid to stop the security guard from raising the alarm.

Sheriff Joe Lombardo, of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, said: "He (Campos) was injured prior to the mass volume shooting."

It is believed Paddock, 64, was drilling the holes either to install cameras to check if anyone was coming up the hotel corridor, or to actually use them as bullet firing holes.

But authorities have refused to say exactly what happened in the minutes after Campos was shot, raising the theory he interrupted the killer from putting in place a plan to either kill more or create an escape route.

Sherriff Lombardo has said previously it is possible that Paddock had planned to escape.

The gambling-obsessed weirdo reportedly stockpiled explosives in his car and also has body armour gear – indicating he planned a getaway.

He also shot a number of times at fuel tanks in a nearby airport in a bid to make them explode (something authorities have said wouldn't have worked).

Sherriff Lombardo added: "We want to figure out the 'Why'. We would like to know the motive
