ISIS Dangerous terrorist group said they are responsible for Yobe attack

The Islamic State has reportedly claimed responsibility for the recent attack on a military base in Yobe on Tuesday, October 24, 2017.

The attack, which reportedly led to the deaths of eight Nigerian soldiers battling the insurgents, has been described as the handiwork of members of ISIS.

TheCable reported that in a statement on Thursday, October 26, 2017, the militant group described how the insurgents prepared and attacked the town where they unleashed terror on a military base and members of the community.

The fighters took three four-wheel-drive vehicles and others mounted with rifles and heavy weaponry and various ammunition,” the statement said.

However, no evidence was provided to back up ISIS claim of being responsible for the Yobe recent attack.

In 2015, the deadly Boko Haram sect pledged alliance to the world deadly terrorism group that is fast spreading around Africa.
