(Movie) Four Powerful Movies You Need To See Before The End Of October

If you are a lover of movies, you would definitely agree with us that October has seen the release of a number of fantastic movies. With a mix of cerebral blockbusters, cinemagoers favourites and mysterious thrillers being released all through the month of October, there definitely shouldn’t be any excuse to be bored this month.

If you have no idea regarding what movies you should spend your time watching in the remaining days of the month, here are four movies that will be worth your time.

Blade Runner 2049

Starring Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Robin Wright and Dave Bautista, Blade runner 2049 was released on October 6th and follows the story of a young blade runner named officer K (Ryan Gosling) who only recently discovered a long-buried secret that leads him to track down former blade runner Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), who’s been missing for thirty years.

The movie features and enviable cast ensemble and loads of glorious visuals captured by master cinematographer Roger Deakins, should definitely make it worth your time. The visuals should definitely be in the running for an award at next year’s Oscars and very few movies would be able to top what it delivers.

Goodbye Christopher Robin

Starring Vicki Pepperdine, Margot Robbie and Domnhall Gleeson, the movie takes a behind-the-scenes look at the life of author A.A. Milne and the creation of the cartoon character, Winnie the Pooh.

While you may actually think a S movie like this would be boring, spineless and bereft of originality simply because it is based on a talented writer who writes inspiring stories, then you’re totally wrong.

The story is in the same vein as as “Finding Neverland”, but it is much more edgy as it takes a look at how the character of “Winnie the Pooh” came to be with an excellent interpretation by the cast.

The Florida Project

The Florida Project was released on October 6th and stars Willem Dafoe, Brooklynn Prince, Caleb Landry Jones and Bria Vinai. The film is set over one summer and follows the activities of mischievous 6-year-old, Moonee (Brooklynn Prince) as she courts trouble and adventure with her band of ragtag playmates.

During the course of her adventures, she bonds with her rebellious but caring mother Haley (Bria Vinai) , all while living in the shadows of Disney World. The two live week to week at “The Magic Castle,” a budget hotel managed by Bobby (a career-best Willem Dafoe), whose stern exterior hides a deep reservoir of kindness and compassion.

Willem Dafoe plays a much gentler role than we are used to seeing him in and helps to make the film a real heartbreaker, so much so that we expect it to be up for a number of awards later on.

Brawl in Cell Block 99

Brawl in Cell Block 99 follows the story of a former boxer who loses his job as an auto mechanic just as his his troubled marriage is about to hit the rocks. At this crossroads in his life, he feels that he has no better option than to work as a drug courier.

He soon finds himself in a gunfight between police officers and his own ruthless allies. When the smoke clears, Bradley is badly hurt and thrown in prison, where his enemies force him to commit acts of violence that turn the place into a savage battleground.

The movie is directed by S. Craig Zahler and it’s stellar cast includes Vince Vaugh, Don Johnson and Jennifer Carpenter. It is a captivating and enthralling movie that is definitely worth your time.

Game of Thrones" Season 8 set photos reveal huge spoiler

Even though the final season of "Game Of Thrones" is still months away, spoilers are already hitting the internet.

A recent photo shared by a fan reveals that contrary to what Season 7 finale might have hinted, fans haven't seen the last of a particular favourite.

A fan recently spotted quite a number of cast members in Belfast, including Kristofer Hivju who plays Tormund GiantBane, whom most fans have solid reason to believe is dead.

play Tormund GiantBane spotted on set of "Game of Thrones" season 8

The last time we saw him, he was on the run from the White Walkers, who had just destroyed the wall and invaded the North.

This huge spoiler could mean that the strong-willed Wilding escaped the collapsing wall.

play

Tormund tells The Hound that he wants to have children with Brienne of Tarth.

(HBO)

But of course, this is "Game of Thrones," a show that doesn't shy away from killing loved characters.  So for all we know, Hivju could just be on set to film a flashback or his death scene.

Whichever way, fans can quit worrying. One thing is certain: they will get to see their favourite Wilding in the upcoming season.

Or is his appearance on set just one of the many ways HBO plans to misled fans?

Remember that "Game of Thrones," which has been a victim of several hacks, is shooting multiple versions of the finale to prevent spoilers.

‘Game Of Thrones’ Finale: The 7 Biggest Moments That Left Us Shook AF

The ‘Game of Thrones’ season 7 was one wild ride. The episode was full of so many epic and shocking scenes, so we’ve taken the liberty of naming the finale’s biggest moments!

1. Jon Snow and Daenerys have cex.

The steamy boat lovemaking scene between Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) that went down in the season 7 finale of Game of Thrones was by far one of the most highly-anticipated hookups in all of GoT fandom, so obviously it was one of the biggest moments of the entire finale. Watching the two lovers come together after an entire season of flirting was truly satisfying. Well, up until…

2. Sam and Bran figure out Jon Snow’s parentage.

Everything would have been just find and dandy for Jon and Dany if Sam and Bran hadn’t gotten together and used their corresponding bits of knowledge to figure out that Jon and Dany are actually aunt and nephew. In a scene that was played back and forth with Jon and Dany’s steamy interaction, Samwell Tarly (John Bradley-West) told Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead Wright) about Rhagear Targaryen’s annulment from his first wife, and Bran used his abilities as the Three-eyed raven to see the wedding between Rhagear and Lyanna Stark — a wedding that confirmed Jon snow is not only not a bastard, but the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. Oh, and related to Dany, of course.

3. Jon Snow’s real name is revealed

.It was in that same moment that Bran and Sam realized who Jon’s parents are that Bran revealed Jon’s real name: Aegon Targaryen. Has a nice ring to it doesn’t it? Well, except for the fact that he has the same last name as Dany! Click here to see our original predictions for the season seven finale.

4. Arya kills Littlefinger

. In a moment even more satisfying than the romantic (but kinda icky?) Jon and Dany hookup, Sansa (Sophie Turner) sentenced Lord Petyr Baelish (Aidan Gillen) aka Littlefinger to death at the hand of her sister Arya (Maisie Williams) — a death we have literally been waiting for since he assisted in the assassination of Ned Stark (Sean Bean) back in season one! Sansa rattled off a list that didn’t even include half the stuff Littlefinger has done to the Starks and just as he was begging for his life Arya walked over and ended his life with a swift slice of a knife across his throat. The same knife he threatened Ned with!

5. The group gathering in the Dragonpit.

Oh. My. God. Remember that time in the season 7 finale when the ENTIRE cast got together in King’s Landing to talk about the White Walker problem. We do! Okay, maybe not the entire cast, but a good chunk of key players showed up to the little meet and greet where Jon brought out a wight to show just how deadly they are and ask for Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) to help them stop them. The group included Cersei, Lord Davos, Jon, The Hound, Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), Euron Greyjoy (Pilou Asbæk), Theon Greyjoy, Dany, Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), The Mountain, Brienne Of Tarth, Podrick, Jorah, Missandei.

6. Theon finally heads back to Pyke to save Yara.

After talking to Jon about how much he respects him and how he always does the right thing, Theon finally decided to do the right thing and go back to Pyke to save his sister Yara. Theon had left Yara for dead back at the beginning of the season when he abandoned ship during a raid by their uncle Euron. In the finale he finally realized Yara was the only one to ever truly have his back and forces a group of men to take him to Pyke to get her. Watching him set off for her couldn’t have made us prouder!

7. The Night King brings down The Wall.

Though there were multiple heartwarming moments in the season seven finale, the final scene was nothing short of freezing — literally. The Night King’s army of White Walkers finally reached The Wall and then the lord of the frozen undead actually brought the magnificent structure down with the power of a dragon’s icy breath. That’s right, he used the newly transformed Viserion, Dany’s beloved dragon, to blow blue icy flames at The Wall and melt down Castle Black. The final moments show him flying into the North on Viserion’s back, and his army walking beneath him.

Game Of Thrones’ Finale Recap: Bran & Sam Discover Jon Snow’s True Origins & More Details

The time has come. The ‘Game of Thrones’ season 7 finale is finally here. HollywoodLife.com is making sure you don’t miss anything that happens in the final episode of this season. Read our recap now!

Grey Worm and the rest of the Unsullied army have arrived in King’s Landing. They’re ready to fight for their queen if need be. Jaime and Bronn look over at the thousands of soldiers Daenerys has on her side. Needless to say, they’re a little intimidated. Considering how Daenerys obliterated the Lannister army during the loot train battle, they should be. Dany’s Dothraki army soon shows up as well.

Jon Snow, Davos, Tyrion, Theon, and Varys arrive to King’s Landing by boat. Jon Snow has never been to King’s Landing. He wonders why anyone would ever want to live in such a small, congested place. Tyrion names a number of reasons why, including that the wine is much better in King’s Landing. The Hound is also on board and goes down to check on the wight they’ve brought along. He’s still kicking and screaming. There’s one person who is not on the boat: Daenerys.

Cersei wonders why Daenerys isn’t on the boat. Everyone is headed to the dragon pit, but without Daenerys there’s really no point in the meeting. Before Cersei heads down there herself, she tells The Mountain to kill Daenerys first, then Tyrion, and Jon Snow last if anything should happen. Jaime is appalled at Cersei’s latest plan. On the way to the dragon pit, a number of reunions happen. Brienne sees The Hound for the first time since she thought she killed him. The look on her face is pure shock. Brienne sort of apologizes for trying to kill The Hound. She was only trying to protect Arya. The Hound says he was only trying to do that, too. Aw! He DOES care about Arya! Podrick and Tyrion also share a sweet moment.

At the dragon pit, Tyrion comes face-to-face with Cersei for the first time since Joffrey’s trial. Jon Snow crosses paths with Cersei for the first time since before he left for the Night’s Watch in season one. The Mountain, Jaime, and Euron are by Cersei’s side as a show of protection. Jaime eyes Brienne and Theon eyes Euron as they walk by. The Hound confronts his brother, The Mountain. “You’re even f**king uglier than I am now,” The Hound tells his brother, who doesn’t say a word. “What did they do to you? Doesn’t matter. It’s not how it ends for you, brother. You know who’s coming for you.” Does this mean Cleganebowl is on for season 8?!

Cersei immediately asks where Daenerys is. Tyrion says she’ll arrive soon. The awkwardness between the Lannister children is deafening. Suddenly, everyone hears Dany’s dragons. Daenerys shows up on Drogon. like a badass. She walks up and takes her seat without saying a word. Cersei tries to drag Daenerys for her tardiness, but Daenerys is not having any of it. Euron interrupts Tyrion and tells Theon that he has Yara. If Theon doesn’t submit to him now, then Yara dies. Tyrion refuses to let Euron take control of this meeting. Jon Snow steps up and reveals everything he knows about the Night King’s army of the dead. He tries to convince Cersei that the threat is serious, but she doesn’t believe him.

The Great War Is Going To Be Dark & Full Of Wights

The Hound brings out the wight. He opens up the wooden box and the wight lunges for Cersei. The Hound slices the wight in half, but the wight continues to scream and fight. Jon shows Cersei that the only way to kill the undead is by burning them or using dragonglass. Cersei is understandably terrified. “There is only one war that matters,” Jon Snow says. “The great war. And it is here.”

Cersei’s not the only one who is scared of the undead. Euron is extremely spooked and tells Cersei he’s going back to the Iron Islands to protect himself. What a coward. Shockingly, Cersei accepts Daenerys’s offer of a truce. Daenerys promises that she’ll stay out of King’s Landing until the Night King and his army are defeated. But Cersei decides to twist the knife just a little bit. She wants Jon to stay in the north and not choose sides between her and Daenerys. Cersei believes that Jon is like his father, Ned, and will honor her conditions. But Jon is not Ned’s son. “I cannot serve two queens,” Jon Snow admits. “I have pledged myself to Queen Daenerys of House Targaryen.” Jonerys shippers, are you screaming yet? Cersei storms off.

Pretty much everyone, including Daenerys, is pissed that Jon Snow didn’t agree to Cersei’s terms. They didn’t come all this way for nothing. Jon Snow refuses to make false promises. His heart lies with Daenerys! To try and mend things with Cersei, Tyrion agrees to go talk with her. The Mountain walks Tyrion to Cersei’s room and runs into Jaime, who wishes him luck with their older sister.

Tyrion and Cersei’s conversation is tense, to say the least. Cersei blames Tyrion for Tommen and Myrcella’s deaths. “I am more sorry about the children than you will ever know,” he says, before figuring out that Cersei’s pregnant again. Cersei’s hatred of Tyrion is apparent, and Tyrion even dares Cersei to kill him. She could end him. Right here, right now. The Mountain is just inches away and could kill Tyrion in a second. But Cersei can’t kill Tyrion. She just can’t. After a short recess, everyone reconvenes back at the dragon pit. Cersei pledges to help until the great war is won.
‘How Do You Answer?’

Over at Winterfell, Littlefinger continues to try and manipulate Sansa against Arya. He attempts to make Sansa think that Arya only came to Winterfell to kill her so she could become Lady of Winterfell. Sansa acts like she believes that is Arya’s plan, but she has to just be playing him, right? Sansa’s not that stupid.

Jon Snow, Daenerys, Tyrion, and the rest of the crew head back to Dragonstone. Theon and Jon Snow have a heart-to-heart. Jon Snow is the man Theon wishes he was. Theon wants to be brave just like Jon. He wants to be his sister’s hero. Their talk inspires Theon to take action. Theon goes down to the water and asks the remaining Iron Islanders to help him find Yara and set her free. He fully admits he’s been a coward. One of the men begins to beat Theon to a bloody pulp. Theon refuses to give up, though. He gets the upper hand in the fight and kills the man. The rest of the men join Theon in their quest to save Yara.

Sansa has Arya brought to the Great Hall. Bran sits by Sansa’s side. Littlefinger is practically salivating over in the corner. Just when you think Sansa is about to lay down the law with Arya, things take a dramatic turn. “You stand accused of murder and treason,” Sansa says. “How do you answer… Lord Baelish?” OMG! Littlefinger denies everything, but then Bran brings up what Littlefinger said to Ned back in season one. Sansa sentences Littlefinger to death. Littlefinger begs Sansa to reconsider. “I loved you more than anyone,” Littlefinger cries. Sansa does not change her mind. “Thank you for all your many lessons, Lord Baelish. I will never forget them,” Sansa says to Littlefinger like the true queen she is. Slay, girl! Arya quickly slices Littlefinger’s throat in front of everyone. YAS, MY QUEENS!
The Rightful Heir

Over in King’s Landing, Cersei reveals her true plan to Jaime. She’s not going to help Jon Snow and Daenerys after all. She’s going to let them all die and rule the Seven Kingdoms without a fight. Jaime begs Cersei to reconsider. Cersei admits that Euron didn’t actually bail. He’s going to Essos to pick up The Golden Company, a mercenary group that she paid for with the Iron Bank’s gold. Cersei tells Jaime that if he rides north to fight the undead, he’ll be committing treason. She also threatens to have him killed. “I’m the only one you have left,” Jaime says. Like Tyrion, Jaime dares Cersei to give The Mountain the order to kill him. She nods her head at The Mountain, but Jaime doesn’t believe she’ll ever really let it happen. He walks away and heads out of King’s Landing. Let’s hope he joins forces with Tyrion!

Sam and Gilly arrive in Winterfell. Sam goes straight to Bran, who’s ready to talk all things Jon Snow. “He needs to know the truth,” Bran says. “About himself.” He reveals to Sam that Jon is the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark. Bran thinks Jon’s last name should be Sand, the last name given to bastards born in Dorne, but Sam knows something Bran doesn’t. He remembers what Gilly said about Rhaegar getting married again. Bran flashes back to Rhaegar and Lyanna’s wedding. “Robert’s Rebellion is built on a lie,” Bran says. “Rhaegar didn’t kidnap my aunt or rape her. He loved her. And she loved him.” Bran also reveals Jon Snow’s birth name: Aegon Targaryen.

This scene coincides with Jon Snow going to Daenerys’s room on the boat. Rhaegar loved Lyanna, and now his son has found his one true love. Jon Snow and Daenerys end up having hot boat cex. FINALLY! Jonerys reigns supreme! Tyrion, looking a little disappointed, watches as Jon Snow goes inside Dany’s room. He knows exactly what’s happening between them. Is he jealous?

The episode ends with the Night King riding Viserion, who now breathes blue fire, and destroying the Wall. Tormund, Beric, and the rest of the men at Eastwatch run for their lives. Once the Wall falls, the Night King’s army of the undead walk begin to walk into Westeros.

Game Of Thrones Season 7 (Episode 7) Finale

Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime.
And winter is here.
On Sunday (Monday morning local time), the final episode of the penultimate season of Game of Thrones will be aired.
While the season comprises of only seven episodes (previous seasons offering us a full 10), producers will be making up for it on Sunday by releasing a near 80 minute runtime (79 minutes and 43 seconds to be precise) episode, reports Venture.
Ooooooh.
But you probably know already, you GoT nerd, you.
The news was announced yesterday, along with the another crazy piece of information: the finale’s title.
Ready? Are you sure?
It’s called “The Dragon and the Wolf” and appears to be a reference “to both the pivotal relationship between Dany (the Targaryen dragon) and Jon Snow (the Stark wolf, or at least that’s who he thinks he is), as well as Jon’s status — potentially — as the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark”.
So. Much. Speculation.
Whatever it means, it’s obvious that the episode will be the most-watched of GoT:
The show is now regularly averaging over 10 million same-day viewers and has set series-best ratings records three of the six weeks it has aired this summer.
Sunday’s finale will go head-to-head with MTV’s Video Music Awards, but odds are, the dragon show won’t have any problem obliterating its competition.
If you’re tingling with excitement, watch the finale’s trailer as well as a breakdown of what every shot means.

Game of Thrones S07E03:The Queen's Justice (storyline)

The episode gets straight to it with the first meeting of Daenerys Targareyan & Jon Snow.

Jon Snow & Davos are received at the beach by a familiar face in Tyrion Lannister. They set their eyes on Khaleesi's winged children flying over the castle en-route to meet her. When they finally meet Daenerys, Davos is irked by the fact she refers to the King of the North as Lord. She expects Jon to kneel in front of her after proclaiming herself as the rightful heir to the iron throne. Jon promptly refuses.
That sets the tone for the rest of the conversation even though Daenerys concedes that her father was an evil man. Jon Snow requests her to forget about waging a war⚔ against King's Landing for the time being and help him defeat the Whitewalkers or the army of the dead. She doesn't accept and somehow the mother of dragons finds it difficult to believe that the undead could exist.

Jon and his entourage are asked to stay on the island for a while. Jon wonders if he is a prisoner⛓ and the queen clarifies: "not yet."

Daenerys receives news that her ally, Theon Greyjoy and his ships have been captured. Tyrion implores her to make peace with Jon Snow as she has just lost an ally. He asks her to allow Snow to mine Dragonglass. Daenerys relents and gives Snow permission to take the Dragonglass.

Meanwhile, Euron Greyjoy parades Oberyn Martell's lover Ellaria Sand before presenting here to Cersei. The queen imprisons Sand and her daughter. She poisons the daughter and leaves her to die a slow death in front of the mother.

Cersei feels all powerful and is no longer ashamed hide her relationship with her brother.

Bran Stark visits the north and is reunited with his sister, Sansa. She tells him that he is the lord of Winterfell. However, Bran refuses to accept that and reveals that he is the three eyed raven, much to the displeasure of Sansa.

Daenerys' army of the Unsullied, attack the'impregnable' Casterly Rock through the sewers, on the advice of Tyrion. However, they encounter very little resistance as Cersei had already moved her army.

In the final scene, Jaime is seen leading an army towards the castle that houses Olenna Tyrell. Jaime tells her that though his sister prefers a more painful death for the Queen of Thorns, he wishes her to die peacefully and offers her poison.
Olenna Tyrell , taunts Jaime with the manner of her son's death before dying by drinking the poisoned redwyne.

Game of Thrones⚔ - Season 7, Episode 1 Recap...Details

'Stormborn'

Spoilers ahead

Daenerys makes up for her lack of dialogues in the first episode with her onslaught of questions directed at Varys on how she could trust the man who's always been on the side of her sworn enemies. Tyrion advises her to take a leap of faith and also, to ally with Jon Snow! Cersei's men are few and their emotional support for their queen is waning too. So burning Westeros down ain't her best course of action either, for “You’re not here to be queen of the ashes.”

Their surprise visitor, Melisandre, instead of prophecies, has the same counsel for the Queen of the Dragons - get Jon Snow. Daenerys consents on the conditon that Jon bends before her and acknowlegdes her as his queen - good luck with that that.

Meanwhile, Cersei has found a way to keep the dragons at bay! A giant-sized crossbow doesn't seem the most kick-ass way to go, but who knows...

Olenna Tyrell and Yara see the sense in Tyrion's strategy to take on King’s Landing and Casterly Rock. Daenerys's strong point now seems the sound advice of the worldy people around her, as much as the fire-spitting dragons.

Arya has learnt about the fate of the Boltons and Jon's standing in the North. Her determination towards her cause gets steelier still.

Jon lays down what's going on with Daenerys and Sam's discovery of the dragonglass. While he's ready to make the journey to Dragonstone, it's his idea to have Sansa take his place as the commander in the North. One stone, two birds?

Get ready for a tearjerker, for Nymeria’s back!

The episode ends with the naval battle of the Greyjoys. After all the pulsating goings on of the episode up to that point, this wasn't the climax fans were hoping for. But, Cersei's stand has been reiterated.
