Mr. 2kay Singer claims Burna boy threatened him and it came to pass #The_Story_Continues

Mr. 2kay has finally spoken about Burna Boy's involvement in the robbery and battery assault he experienced in the hands of armed robbers.

According to the music star who spoke through his manager, JamesSilas, while granting an interview with E-Daily, he had called out Burna Boy over his views on pastors in Nigeria during an interview.

He didn't know that Burna boy was going to take it personally as immediately he finished the interview, he got a message from Burna boy threatening him.

“The arrested suspects confessed that Burna Boy contracted them through a third party to teach Mr. 2Kay a lesson because he granted Hip TV an interview, where he corrected Burna Boy for saying negative things about Nigerian pastors. 2Kay said Burna Boy shouldn’t have spoken ill of pastors because they are anointed men of God so he can’t be talking about them in that manner.

"After the interview, Burna Boy sent a message saying “You better have that energy when I come for you because I’m coming for you”. We thought it was just an empty threat but unknown to us he was serious about it. All along we didn’t want to talk about it because the police are still doing their investigations," he said

“His father was at the station yesterday (Monday), so Burnaboy just has to appear at the station to clarify himself”, Silas added.

Silas went to say that Mr. 2kay is living fear and watching his back as he doesn't know if and when he and his crew might be attacked.

“We just have to watch our backs because we’re not safe like this, Mr. 2Kay will always have security around him, two bodyguards and police protection for every event he goes for now," he said.

He also confirmed that Mr. 2kay doesn't want to press charges against Burna boy but now it's a police affair so he wants the police to handle the issue.

 

This latest interview is coming days after the police had declared Burna boy wanted over the robbery and assault attack on Mr. 2kay after he performed at the "Buckwyld 'n' Breathless" concert which took place at Eko Hoteland Suites on October 22, 2017.

It would be recalled that after the incident, PR consultant, Sakpaide Ogaga, said Mr 2Kay was in the room with a friend and struggled with one of the robbers, as the others punched and hit him with a gun, repeatedly warning that they will shoot if he didn't calm down

Ogaga also said, one of the robbers led and locked 2Kay’s friend in the bathroom, while the others tied the singer’s arms, legs and mouth and took his valuables including jewelry, clothes, perfumes, phones, and money. They also cut the room’s intercom (phone) to avoid any form of communication as they left the hotel
