20-Year-Old Ghanaian Lady Sets Boyfriend's House Ablaze For Cheating On Her (Photo)
A randy boyfriend has paid the hard way after his girlfriend set his house on fire for allegedly cheating on her.
The house was destroyed by the fire
According to a report by Pulse Ghana, a hurt woman identified as Priscilla Berfi, 20, has rendered her boyfriend homeless after she recently set his house at Deduako in the Oforikrom Constituency of the Ashanti Region ablaze for allegedly cheating on her.
While narrating the sad incident, the boyfriend, Kofi Adusei said he had ceased taking care of Priscilla, who is pregnant due to her bad attitude and lack of respect towards him.
He said Priscilla visited him on the night of the incident but they had a misunderstanding so he decided not to spend the night in the same room with her.
According to him, he left the room and went to sleep in another where a second girlfriend was waiting for him.
‘While relaxing in the other room, I perceived smoke and so I thought she had taken some of my clothing out to burn them. I really wasn’t bothered, but later I heard shouts and calls that my room is on fire, we rushed to see the room in flames with Priscilla nowhere to be found,’ he said.
After the incident, Kofi however, reported the issue to the police and the suspect has since been arrested by Kwame Nkrumah of Science and Technology (KNUST) District Police Command to help with further investigations

MESSAGE:
What you get from God depends on how contented or dissatisfied you are. While some people ask nothing from the Almighty God who has all things and who can do all things, some others ask for crumbs. Your desire and request go a long way in determining what you get in life. In Matthew 15:21-28, when the woman whose daughter was tormented by demons met the Lord, all she asked for was crumbs:
“And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.” - Matthew 15:27
Even today, after Jesus had said that the children of the Kingdom are meant to eat at God’s table, many of these children still prefer the crumbs that fall from the Master’s table (Luke 12:32, Matthew 15:26). Where is your focus: the table or the crumbs?
Similarly, there is a correlation between your desire and your trust in God. If you really have faith in God, you will be able to ask big. The Bible says those who know their God shall do exploits (Daniel 11:32). In other words, when you know little or nothing about God, when asked to make a request, you will be afraid of asking for too much, and so you will be confined to asking for so little. However, when you know how inexhaustible the resources of God are, it will stir up courage in your heart to ask for big, great and impossible things. Therefore, if you are asking for a used car, a tiny rented apartment or a job that can barely take you away from starvation, it is very possible that you do not know or trust God enough. In today’s Bible reading, Agur made a very humble request. He asked for neither poverty nor wealth. He feared poverty, lest he might be tempted to steal; and he also feared wealth, lest he deny God. Just enough was that he asked for. Using the children of Israel as a model of God’s plan for your life, you will observe that God took them from the wilderness, where they had Manna that was just enough for each day, to a land flowing with milk and honey, where they had more than enough (Exodus 16:15-19, Deuteronomy 6:10-11, Joshua 5:12). Just enough might mean not having reserves to take care of emergencies. That means, in an emergency, you may be forced to go cap in hand borrowing. Are you asking but asking for too little? How can your joy be full if all you have is little? Are you asking for little in consideration of others who are also asking God for the same things? You can never exhaust God’s resources. Ask big and stop limiting yourself!

Manchester Bombing: Ariana Grande to Have Benefit Show for Victims
Ariana Grande has vowed to return to Manchester, England, to give a concert to raise money for the victims of Monday's deadly bombing at her show there. She did not announce a date for the concert.
In a statement both defiant and heavy with emotion, the pop on Friday wrote to her fans, saying "We won't let hate win" and "We won't let this divide us. From the day I started putting the Dangerous Woman Tour together, I said that this show, more than anything else, was intended to be a safe space for my fans."

Following the sack and eviction of Venerable Femi Taiwo, by the Lagos state government for allegedly disrespecting the wife of the governor, Bolanle Ambode the church has spoken out. The Rt. Rev. Michael Adeyemi the head of the African Church, Ifako Diocese, and the boss of the Presiding Chaplain of the Chapel of Christ the Light, Ikeja had these to say in an interview with Punch newspaper. “It was on Monday, May 15, that Venerable Taiwo called me that there was a development in the chapel and that he was coming to see me. He came and showed me the sack letter, saying that his appointment had been terminated.
The outrage has continued to rise over teh eviction of pastor Taiwo
“I asked him specifically if he had been receiving queries from the officials of the chapel or the government, but he said it has never happened.
“I know Taiwo. He is a very responsible minister of God; very knowledgeable, humble and disciplined. I have worshiped at that chapel a few times myself. And I made personal investigations about him. “Even the members of the chapel are saddened by this development. If you know about what they have been doing since this incident happened, you will know venerable Taiwo is a man everybody respects.
They accommodated him and furnished the place just to make him comfortable. They have also written to the government to rescind the decision. He is not a wayward person.” When asked about the sack letter, the reverend said: “I was here, when he called me that they asked him to pack out within 24 hours and that he was even told that the governor’s wife would not like to hear that he was still being seen around. “Then we started wondering what could have happened? Somebody that has a wife and kids, and you asked him to go within 24 hours? Where do you expect him to go? “This is very ungodly! It is a sacrilege for someone who happens to be a Christian. Even when Fashola was there, despite being a Muslim, he never took such a decision. “Now that the governor is a Christian, which we all fought for, he is the one taking ungodly decisions. “We have written letters to CAN and CCN, including the Methodist Church where the Venerable Taiwo’s assistant came from, that if Mrs Ambode, is trying to cause divide and rule among the Christians, she should go ahead. We are not afraid of anything.”
Condemning the first lady, he also said: “We understand that Mrs Ambode is also a pastor in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, let her go and ask the RCCG Pastor, Enoch Adeboye, whether what she did was the right thing to do to a minister of God. It is ungodly and very sad. “From my findings, her point of annoyance was that she was not recognised. She was not duly recognised and I asked that at what point was she expecting that recognition? “I was told that Venerable Taiwo mounted the pulpit to deliver the sermon, she expected him to recognise and welcome her to the service. To some extent, I agree with her because the Bible says we should give honour to whom it is due.” He concluded by saying: “As a church, we are demanding apology from the governor and the government of Lagos State. We demanded that we wanted a Christian governor. “We came out en masse and supported the political ambition of Ambode. We told our members to go out and vote for him. Unfortunately, people have started mocking us.” Meanwhile, according to a source: “The point is that he (Mr. Taiwo) disregarded rules to go and meet the First Lady without authorisation, out of selfish interest.

Osinbajo Attends G7 Summit As Leaders Turn Attention To Africa
_Nigeria’s Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo has joined other African leaders at the G7 summit in _Sicilly_, Italy._
The summit is turning its attention to Africa as the leaders meet with African Heads of State, for talks on the European migrant crisis.
Other African representatives attending the summit are from Tunisia, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Niger. The choice of Sicilly is to draw attention to Africa and the millions of migrants who risk their lives crossing to Europe from the Mediterranean.
Egypt Holds Funeral For Christians Killed By Gunmen
Thousands attended a funeral service on Friday for those killed in an attack after gunmen targeted a group of Coptic Christians travelling to a monastery in central Egypt, killing 28.
The funeral turned into an angry protest against what mourners said was the authorities’ failure to protect Christians. “What more are we going to see from Sisi? What more are we going to see from him? What more is he going to do? Enough is enough,” a mourner said.
Eyewitnesses said masked men opened fire after stopping the Christians, who were in a bus and other vehicles on a desert road.
Man shouts anti-Islam slurs, kills 2 in Portland, USA
A man fatally stabbed two people and injured a third on a commuter train in Oregon's largest city Friday as people confronted him for "yelling a gamut of anti-Muslim and anti-everything slurs," a Portland police spokesman said.
Jeremy Joseph Christian, 35, was on a Metropolitan Area Express (MAX) light-rail train in Portland late Friday afternoon when he started yelling what "would best be characterized as hate speech toward a variety of ethnicities and religions," police said in news release.
One man died at the scene, and a second victim died at a hospital, police said.
"President Trump must speak out personally against the rising tide of Islamophobia and other forms of bigotry and racism in our nation that he has provoked through his numerous statements, policies and appointments that have negatively impacted minority communities," CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad said.

MESSAGE:
“I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.” - Revelation 3:15
If there is one state that God never wants His children to be in, it is the state of lukewarmness. As seen in the above Scripture passage, the Lord speaks His mind on this issue in very strong terms. He says if you want to be hot, be hot, and if you want to be cold, be cold; if you are neither cold nor hot, He will spit you out of His mouth. God has zero tolerance for lukewarmness. As foretold by the Holy Spirit long ago, many Christians in these last days are falling into the state of lukewarmness. Lukewarm people are tasteless in God’s mouth, and hence He cannot stand them. You cannot mix your worship of God with the worship of an idol. How can you put the Ancient of Days on the same platform as an idol that is the contraption of men’s hearts? God is greatly insulted by this. If you want to be a Christian, be a completely devoted one. Serve Him with your life and ensure you glorify Him in all that you do. If you however do not want to be a Christian, do not pretend to be one.
One soul I wish I could have won for Christ is Fela Anikulapo Kuti, the late Nigerian Afro-beat music icon. I loved him for one thing: he was not a pretender. His lifestyle clearly showed that he was not on the side of Christ. This man married 27 wives in one day! He was a law unto himself. Some people say they are serving God, and at home they have one wife, but outside, they have several mistresses. Stop pretending! If you want to serve God, serve Him, but if you don’t want to serve God, stay away from Him. Whatever is worth doing is worth doing well. A lukewarm fellow will say he like something, whereas he hates that same thing in his heart. He or she lives a false life. Some people appear to be very active and zealous for God when they are in their country of origin, but when they travel abroad, you will not believe they are the same person you thought you knew. Such people are unable to stand for the truth, and so will find excuses to justify their lack of zeal for the things of God. Lukewarm people are dream-killers and act as bad influencers. If you are hot and you stay around them, they can discourage you by their attitude. Are you lukewarm? It’s time to come out of that state today! Take a stand for the truth and for living right!
Key Point: Those who find it difficult to stand up for Jesus still love the world.
